He adds that the drill hole was abandoned in mineralisation at 192 metres and will be continued with a diamond tail next year.

Emmerson Resources Ltd (ASX:ERM)s Rob Bills say theyve lifted the mineral resource estimate for the Chariot gold deposit at Tennant Creek, Northern Territory, by 40% to 556,200 tonnes at 7.8 g/t gold for 138,800 ounces. The new MRE supports a conceptual high-grade 17.7 g/t gold open pit and 6.3 g/t gold underground operation.

The geophysical survey has been completed to assist the 2021 exploration program and this identified a number of copper-gold targets described by the company as compelling.

In addition, Emmerson holds 660km2 across five projects in NSW, where a recent discovery by Alkane Resources (called Boda) has ignited great exploration interest. Rob Bills had the opportunity to meet the NT Minister for Mining and Industry, Nicole Manison, to discuss the $26 million Resourcing the Territory initiative which supports mineral exploration and development across the Barkly region. Of which Emmerson has been fortunate in attracting three co-funded projects that have laid the framework for our recent discoveries at Mauretania, Goanna and Edna Beryl. Emmerson are well positioned with 1700km2 of highly prospective tenements in the Tennant Creek Mineral Field and $10.5m going into exploration, plus a JV partner committed to building a processing plant in the region - thus unlocking the many stranded high grade gold and copper projects. Emmerson continues to build strong relationships with all stake holders in the Tennant Creek region and recently announced a landmark Joint Venture with the Traditional Owners over Emmersons high grade gold, copper and cobalt project at Jasper Hills. This heralds a new partnership whereby the Traditional Owners have direct equity and employment opportunities right from the early exploration stage - with the prospect of defining further high value gold, copper and cobalt from the application of Emmersons new exploration concepts and technology.

Emmerson Resources Limited has been searching for gold at its exploration sites near Tennant Creek and their recent gold intercept results are very encouraging. The WA based company has announced a joint venture with the Tennant Consolidated Mining Group (TCMG) and has announced high-grade gold deposits have been discovered during recent exploration. These encouraging exploration results will help support the case for development of a gold processing hub in Tennant Creek, which is currently the subject of a feasibility study by TCMG.
