Wellington Project

This large EL covering an area of 390km2 covers large tracts of prospective Ordovician-Early Silurian Macquarie Arc rocks with a number of identified target areas.

Geological Setting

Historic Exploration

The area covered by the Wellington Project EL has been explored since the 1970's by various companies. Although it has seen a number of exploration campaigns over those years' activities have been limited to surface geological mapping, surface geochemical sampling, rock chipping, airborne magnetics survey and very shallow RAB & RC drilling. This historical work identified areas of anomalous geochemistry with standout rock chip samples returning grades up to 7.12% Cu, 11.3% Zn & 10% Pb.

Current Status

Emmerson is currently compiling and evaluating historical exploration activities before undertaking a detailed work program to test the identified areas of interest.

When this work program has been generated Emmerson will identify all affected landowners and begin discussions on land access and work towards finalising Land Access Agreements.


Fifield Project

This large EL covering an area of 66km2 covers large tracts of prospective Ordovician-Early Silurian Macquarie Volcanic Arc rocks with a number of identified target areas.

Compilation and assessment of historical exploration over the EL area are currently in progress.

Current Status

Emmerson is currently compiling and evaluating historical exploration activities before undertaking a detailed work program to test the identified areas of interest.

When this work program has been generated Emmerson will identify all affected landowners and begin discussions on land access and work towards finalising Land Access Agreements.


Temora Project

This large EL covering an area of 203km2 covers large tracts of prospective Ordovician-Early Silurian Macquarie Volcanic Arc rocks with a number of identified target areas.

The area covered by the Temora Project EL has been explored since the 1980's by various companies. Although it has seen a number of exploration campaigns over those years' activities have been limited to surface geological mapping, surface geochemical sampling, rock chipping, airborne magnetics survey and very shallow RAB drilling. This historical work identified areas of anomalous geochemistry with standout; assay results of up to 1340ppm Zn & 2.6g/t Au; rock chip samples were returning grades up to 1675ppm Cu, 717ppm Zn & 1595ppm As.

Parkes Project

This large EL covering an area of 109km2 covers large tracts of prospective Ordovician-Early Silurian Macquarie Volcanic Arc rocks with a number of identified target areas.

The area covered by the Parkes Project EL has been explored since the 1960's by various companies. Although it has seen a number of exploration campaigns over those years, activities have been limited to surface geological mapping, surface geochemical sampling, rock chipping, airborne magnetics survey and shallow RAB, air core & RC drilling. This historical work identified areas of anomalous geochemistry with standout rock chip samples returning grades up to 9.65g/t Au, 240ppm Cu & 500ppm As.
