Steve Russell 
Exploration Manager (appointed December, 2007)
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Applied Geology, graduating from Curtin University in 1995. Steve has been involved in the mineral exploration business for over 13 years and has explored for a range of commodities including gold, base metals and more recently, mineral sands.
Steve commenced his career with Sons of Gwalia (SGW) as a cadet in Marvel Loch, Western Australia. On completion of several years with SGW Steve moved to the Solomon Islands with Ross Mining and then into the Tennant Creek region, Northern Territory, where he held various senior positions with Giants Reef Mining (GRM). Immediately prior to commencing with Emmerson Resources Steve held a senior exploration role with Iluka Resources Limited (ILU) in the Midwest of Western Australia.
